Terms of Use

1. The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and TurnaWorks Ltd. ("Milo", "we"). They apply when you use the Milo eSIM app, this website, or anything you buy through them. By using the app or buying a plan you accept them. If you do not, stop using the app.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of this agreement.

2. What Milo is, and what it is not

Milo sells prepaid eSIM data plans for travel. We are a reseller, not a mobile network operator: the connectivity is delivered by our eSIM connectivity partner and the local networks it works with.

Plans are data only. Milo does not provide a phone number and does not carry voice calls or SMS. Your own SIM stays in your phone, so your number and its calls and messages are unaffected.

Milo cannot be used to contact emergency services. A Milo plan gives you data and nothing else. Keep a phone able to reach emergency numbers by other means.

3. Your account

The app works without an account. Signing in with Google links your eSIMs and credits to that account so they survive a new phone; without it they exist on one device only, and losing the device loses them.

You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live. Keep your sign-in secure — anything done through your account is treated as done by you.

You can delete your account in the app. Deleting it ends active eSIMs and forfeits unused credits.

4. Credits

Credits are what you spend on plans. You buy them in packs and they sit in your balance until you use them.

5. Plans and eSIMs

6. Payments

Credits are bought through Google Play or the Apple App Store, using whatever payment methods that store offers you. We never see your card details. The store is the merchant for those purchases, and its own terms apply to them alongside these.

Prices may change. A change never affects a purchase you have already made.

7. Refunds

There are two different things here, and they work differently.

Credit purchases

Money you paid to a store is refunded by that store, under its policy. Ask Google Play or Apple. We cannot reverse a store payment ourselves.

Plans bought with credits

A plan you have not installed can be cancelled in the app, and the credits go straight back to your balance. Once the profile has been installed on a phone it cannot be cancelled, because it has been issued and can no longer be returned to us.

If a plan fails through our fault or our partner's — the eSIM is never issued, or it does not work and we cannot fix it — tell us and we will return the credits or issue a working plan.

8. What your phone needs

Milo needs an eSIM-capable phone that is not locked to a carrier, and an internet connection to install the profile. Checking your phone qualifies is your responsibility, and it is worth doing before you buy: we cannot refund an installed plan because the phone turned out to be locked.

Data roaming must be enabled for the Milo eSIM at your destination. That is how the plan works.

9. Fair use

Plans are sold for personal use while travelling. Networks apply their own fair-use rules, and speeds may be reduced on unlimited or high-volume plans once a threshold is passed, as stated on the plan. We may limit or end service that looks like commercial resale, permanent use in one country as a substitute for a local line, automated traffic generation, or any other use the plan was not sold for.

10. What you agree not to do

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently, or where a law or a partner requires it. Where we can give notice first, we will. A closure for breach does not entitle you to a refund of unused credits.

You may stop using Milo at any time, and delete your account in the app.

12. No warranties

Milo is provided as it is. Mobile networks fail, coverage varies, and phones differ; we do not promise that a plan will be uninterrupted, available everywhere within a coverage area, or of any particular speed. Usage figures come from the network and can lag behind reality by hours. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties.

13. Liability

We are liable for what the law does not let us exclude — and, in particular, nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited.

Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or a trip that went wrong because a connection did not work. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the plan the claim is about.

14. Intellectual property

The app, this site, the Milo name and logo, and everything in them belong to us or our licensors. Using Milo does not transfer any of it to you.

15. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The effective date at the top says when they last changed, and material changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use Milo after a change means you accept it; if you do not, stop using the app and you may delete your account.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts and enforcement offices of İstanbul have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protections of the mandatory law of the country you live in. Consumers in Türkiye may also apply to the consumer arbitration committee or the consumer court in their own place of residence.
